Founded by blues shouter and harmonica player Joe Strouzer and guitarist Joseph Trudgeon, the band draws on the rich traditions of the Memphis Jug Band and Gus Cannon’s Jug Stompers while delivering performances packed with energy, humour and irresistible rhythm.

With harmonica, mandolin, guitar, double bass and old-school percussion combining to create a joyous wall of sound, the Jug Busters are as much about dancing and singing along as they are about musical authenticity.
